Central Cariboo Rural Directors' Caucus Highlights - Feb 7th mtg

Present: Chair T. Pare and Directors Forseth, Neufeld and Anderson

Meeting called to order at 3:00pm

The Chair recognized that the meeting was taking place on the traditional, unceded territory of the Williams Lake First Nation within Secwepemculecw

Minutes of the Caucus meeting held on January 10th, 2024

Delegation:

Geraldine Elkins and Lyndsay Kay from BCEHS (BC Emergency Health Services aka BC Ambulance Service) appeared before the Caucus, via MS-Teams, to discuss the BCEHS First Responder Program along the Highway 20 corridor including Anahim Lake and Alexis Creek

Following their presentation -- a Question/Answer period ensued 

The Chair thanked the delegation for their time/information

Business:

The Caucus discussed the following matters:

Cariboo Regional District's Victim Services Funding Agreement with City of Williams Lake
Appointment to Williams Lake Air Quality Roundtable

and resolved that the Appointment to Williams Lake Air Quality Roundtable be deferred until April's Caucus Meeting

The Action Page was received

Closed Caucus Session:

At 3:56pm -- the Caucus recessed to a Closed (In-Camera) Session as per Section 92 and 90(1j - information prohibited from public disclosure) of the Community Charter

At 4:24pm-- the Caucus resumed its' Open Session 

Caucus adjourned at 4:24pm
