Although CivicInfoBC doesn't say it - Ms. DeMare will be attempting to become the SLRD Director for Area 'A' (Gold Bridge, Bralorne and Area) given her home as Gun Lake and Gun Lake falls within Area 'A' of the SLRD. No word yet if Ms. DeMare will have a challenger or will get elected via acclamation but she will know on October 14th at 4:00pm when the nomination period closes for all local government elections in BC
