30 Days from today...

In exactly 30 days from today - voters' in various communities will be electing candidates to various offices, as follows:

Wells - Councillors only
Quesnel - Mayor and Councillors
School District #28 (Quesnel) - 7 Trustees
Williams Lake - Mayor and Councillors
School District #27 (Cariboo-Chilcotin) - Trustees for Zones #4-7
100 Mile House - Mayor only
Cariboo Regional District - Directors for Electoral Areas 'E', 'H', 'J' and 'L'

As usual - I personally wish the best to all local government candidates in the Cariboo-Chilcotin.  We are all winners by putting our names forward

Over the next number of weeks - all-candidate forums will be held to allow the public to hear from the candidates and allow members of the public to question the candidates on their platforms.  Three forums that we know about already are:

October 24th - School District #27 Trustee Candidates (7:00pm at Thompson Rivers' University)
Nov 2nd - WL City Councillor candidates (5:30pm at the TDC)
Nov 3rd - WL Mayoralty Candidates (11:30 am at Beeotcheese's Restaurant.  Advance purchase of tickets for this event required from the WL District Chamber of Commerce at 250-392-5025)

I've also gotten word about an upcoming all-candidate forum in Quesnel but if I get confirmation about this or other all candidate forums in the Cariboo-Chilcotin, I'll be sure to post that information here
