More problems for the BC Conservatives'

In his column tomorrow - Vaughn Palmer of the Vancouver Sun will report that the BC Conservative has lost its' Deputy Financial Agent.  In explaining her departure, she says:

She went on to cite personal attacks on her “character” and “work ethic” as well as the questionable state of the information being proved to her for preparation of the party’s quarterly financial filing: “ No person schooled in accounting would accept that data and put their name to it.“

As well - legal counsel for the recently dismissed ex-BC Conservative Party members go on to say:

“Provincial board members should take notice that I am evaluating whether an action exists against Board members personally,” said a recent letter from legal counsel for the trio. “Frankly I am concerned that Conservative party resources may be used to defend the actions of individuals whose actions were outside the scope of their duties as directors.”

Clearly - many challenging days lay ahead for the BC Conservatives' Provincial Board and one can only wonder now if they'll have the human/financial resources required to be a major contender on the provincial political scene in May of 2013.  For me - I think not, but time will tell... but my own conclusion is that the fight for BC is really between the BC Liberals and BC NDP
