Next week will see all local governments in the Cariboo-Chilcotin attending the Union of BC Municipalities Annual Convention in Vancouver which includes debating resolutions, meeting with provincial cabinet ministers and hearing from both provincial Leader of the Opposition Adrian Dix and BC Premier Christy Clark
Meanwhile - in today's Vancouver Province, Williams Lake received some negative press after the Province called their UBCM Resolution to consider a prolific offenders' past history when prosecuting as 'Wacky'. But Williams Lake was in good company as UBCM Resolutions from Sidney, Osoyoos, Chilliwack and the Sunshine Coast Regional District were equally declared as 'wacky'
