Last night - I had the pleasure to attend a community BBQ at the Wildwood VFD Hall in my role as the Area 'D' Alternate Director. I also had the opportunity to catch up with some residents' in Wildwood to discuss some local things coming up as well as chit-chatting with some of the CRD Directors' in attendance including Area 'L' Director Bruce Rattray, Area 'F' Director Joan Sorley and Area I Director Jim Glassford
Area 'F' Director Joan Sorley took a moment to remind those in attendance about the upcoming Sept 30th 'Orange Shirt Day'. An event I personally plan to attend in Boitanio Park (10:30am on Sept 30th)
From what I observed - those in attendance had a very enjoyable BBQ in their home community :)
