West Chilcotin SAR Final Referendum Results

The Cariboo Regional District’s Chief Election Officer has declared the result of the West Chilcotin (Electoral Area J) Search and Rescue Referendum as official. The results are as follows.

Thanks for your comment. As the referendum was approved - the West Chilcotin Search and Rescue Service Establishment Bylaw can now be taken to the Regional Board for final adoptionl, likely at the Oct 4th Board meeting

Once adopted - residents' within the West Chilcotin Search and Rescue Function area can be taxed for this service in 2014
