IntegrityBC takes BC to task on Local Gov't Election Reform

In an Op-Ed on their webpage - IntegrityBC Executive Director Dermod Travis takes Victoria to task over its' proposed Local Government Election Reforms set for tabling in the BC Legislature in its' Spring session which will commence in February

Some of Mr. Travis's complaints include:

a) No reform of when an In-Camera (or private) meeting(s) should or should not occur
b) No campaign donation limits (but I understand this will be in place in time for the 2017 Election)
c) Victoria silent on need for by-elections as MLA migrate from their old jobs (Mayor, Councillor, SD Trustee or RD Director)
