The City of Williams Lake now has a new convenient option for property owners to pay their tax and utility bills. Tax and utility amounts owing can be deducted from payees’ bank accounts on payment due dates. There is also a monthly installment payment option for property taxes.
This option eliminates the need to come to City Hall to pay taxes or utility bills by the due dates. Installment payments can be made toward the next year’s taxes, and any balance owing will be reconciled on the final due date in July.
Installment amounts will be shown on your tax notice each year.
To register for the program, property owners can fill out a form at City Hall with their name, property address, and banking information. For more information, please contact Financial Services at 250-392-2311.
