Pat Wahlstrom was one of 32 British Columbians honoured at the 11th annual British Columbia Community Achievement Awards’ ceremony held at Government House in Victoria yesterday.
“The British Columbia Community Achievement Awards recognize exceptional and passionate community leaders in our province,” said Cariboo North MLA Coralee Oakes. “Thank you to Pat Wahlstrom for strengthening community arts and culture in the North Cariboo.”
Involved in the arts for 30 years in Quesnel, Pat Wahlstrom was the long-time coordinator for the Quesnel Art Gallery, a position that she undertook with enthusiasm and her can-do attitude. She oversaw all the details critical to the operation of a community organization that is known for excellence in Quesnel and throughout the arts and culture sector in British Columbia.
