Yesterday evening, CTV News reported that Stats Canada had released new numbers as it pertains to the Crime Severity Index (CSI) for 2012 - latest year available.
The Index answers such questions as: is the crime coming to the attention of police more or less serious than before; and, is police-reported crime in a given city or province more or less serious than in Canada overall?

1) Terrace, BC
2) Fort St. John, BC
3) Prince Rupert, BC
4) Yorkton, Saskatchewan
5) Williams Lake, BC
6) Prince Albert Saskatchewan

8) Yellowknife, NWT
