At the request of the BC Premier -- Her Honour, the Hon. Judith Guichon, BC's Lieutenant-Governor has dissolved the 40th Parliament of British Columbia which officially starts the 41st BC General Election with General Voting Day on Tuesday, May 9th

Elections BC has also set the campaign limits as follows:
Candidate - $77,674.62
Political Party - $4,882,404.95
3rd Party advertising sponsors is $3,328.91 in relation to a single electoral district and $166,445.62 overall
Finally - so far, only 2 All Candidates Forums have been scheduled. One on April 13th (details here) and one on April 27th (click here)

UPDATE - Political parties/Independents have until 1pm next Tuesday to officially register with Elections BC to be an official candidate in the May 9th BC Election. As of now - here are the known candidates for Cariboo-North/Cariboo-Chilcotin
