Soda Creek/Williams Lake Cut Off Roads CLOSED

According to Drive BC - Soda Creek Road at Springfield Road 15 kms north of Williams Lake in Electoral Area 'D' of the Cariboo Regional District is currently CLOSED, due to washout in BOTH directions.  Next update is scheduled to be Monday, April 27th at 8am

Meanwhile, Williams Lake Cut Off Road is now closed, due to bridge washout at Hawkes Creek (see picture below):

For those who use Soda Creek Road from west of the Rudy Johnson Bridge to Williams Lake -- your ONLY route to Williams Lake is via Meldrum Creek Road over to Highway 20 then in to Williams Lake. The status of Williams Lake Cut Off Road is scheduled to be revisited later today at 12 noon but given the above picture, it may very well be several days yet before access is restored to this road as well as Soda Creek Road...
