REMINDER: Contact Details for Flooding/Road Issues in the Cariboo Regional District

With warmer weather in the forecast and spring freshet activity increasing throughout the region, there is increased potential for soft road bases, muddy conditions, flooding, damage to roads, blocked culverts, and landslides. Please note the following numbers for incident reporting:

To reach the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure in the Cariboo Chilcotin, please call: 250-398-4510, or email: SIR.CaribooDistrict@gov.bc.ca. Incident reporting outside of regular office hours or in emergency situations can directed to the Transportation Management Centre of BC (TMBC) seven days a week, 24 hours a day. They can be reached at: 1-866-707-7862. Someone will take your call and forward the information to the appropriate agency or responder.
