Meeting agenda adopted with 1 Late Item (approval of 2022 Central Cariboo Rural Directors' Caucus Meeting Schedule)
Minutes of the Caucus meeting held on October 27th, 2021 were received/adopted
Delegation:
1) Danene Goulet, Community Outreach & Office Manager, Adult & Teen Challenge Society of BC appeared before Caucus to speak about addiction services in the Central Cariboo
A Question/Answer period ensued
The Chair thanked the delegation for their time/information
Business:
1) 2022 Grant for Assistance - Main Intake Applications
The Caucus reviewed the 4 submitted Grant for Assistance applications (click here) and made recommendations to the Regional Board for allocations, as follows:
a) Cariboo Chilcotin Child Development Centre
Association (Replace ride-on playground units (rocketship &
firetruck)) -- Divide equally between Areas D,E,F with total cost of $6,500
b) Chimney and Felker Lakes Landholders Association (Improvements to the community golf course;
replace 2 wood bridges on the course. -- Approve $10,000 from Area "E". Director Delainey to ask the Association to connect with CRD Staff about a NDIT application
c) Museum of the Cariboo Chilcotin (Purchase 2 deep freezers', cleaning supplies,
employee wages) -- Grant application for funds denied
d) Williams Lake Stampede Association (Stampede Ground Improvements) -- Approve $3,000 divided equally between Areas D,F,J
2) 2022 Meeting Schedule of Central Cariboo Rural Directors' Caucus (Late Item)
Resolved -- That it be recommended to the Regional Board:
That the 2022 Meeting Schedule of Central Cariboo Rural Directors' Caucus be approved - 4th Wednesday of each month except July, August and December with meeting times at 3pm in the Cariboo Regional District Boardroom in Williams Lake
