2022 BC Local Elections Campaign Expense Limits set!

Elections BC today has released the 2022 Local Elections Campaign Expense Limits for those running for Mayor, Councillor, Area Director or School Trustee and the list is broken down by individual local government/Board of Education and can be viewed at: https://elections.bc.ca/local-elections/local-candidates/candidate-expense-limits/ 

Upcoming key dates include: 

 * July 18th - September 16th -- "Pre-Campaign Period 

 * August 30th - September 9th at 4pm sharp!-- "Formal Nomination Period for those seeking election/re-election to Local Government/Board of Education" 

 * September 17th - October 15th -- "Campaign Period" 

 * October 15th -- "General Voting Day"

 * January 13th, 2023 -- "Deadline to file Local Election Campaign Disclosure Form with Elections BC" 

 * February 13th, 2023 -- ""Deadline to file Local Election Campaign Disclosure Form with Elections BC BUT $500 Late Filing Fee applies"
