Over the last couple of months - the candidates have introduced themselves and made their pitch to you, the voters', so now it is your turn to decide who governs you from Dec 1st, 2011 until Nov 1st, 2014
As Ben Meisner said, in part, in his editorial on Opinion250.com: (Full Editorial here)
Now to the matter at hand, municipal politics creates for each and every one of us an opportunity to be directly involved in local government.
If you don’t like the manner in which the city has operated over the past three years then you owe yourself the responsibility of going to the voter’s box and expressing your displeasure. By contrast, if you feel the incumbents have done a reasonable job, your vote is also required.
We have a good list of candidates both for Mayor and for Council. It is now up you to decide in just who you place the most trust.
That opportunity will be presented to you this Saturday, exercise it.
As such - I beg you to show up and vote - it need not matter that you are personally supporting me or someone else, but please show up and vote. Before I give the voting locations, let me advise that this will be my last blog post prior to Saturday's Vote, as soon as I'm able Saturday night after 8pm - I'll post the unofficial results for all jurisdictions... with official results on Wednesday at 4pm
