Residents are invited to the Cariboo Memorial Recreation Complex on Family Day, Feb. 10 for a free public skate from 10:30 a.m. to noon.
Karen’s Concession will be open, and skate rentals are free. Rentals are limited in sizes and numbers and are offered on a first come, first served basis. Skate patrollers will be on hand to ensure a safe and fun time for all.
The free public skate is made possible by a $1,000 Family Day Grant from the provincial Ministry of Community, Sport and Cultural Development, in partnership with the British Columbia Recreation and Parks Association.
