Joan Sorley runs for re-election

On Sept 2nd - Cariboo RD Area 'F' Director Joan Sorley issued a Term End Report to her constituents covering the following items:

* Orange Shirt Day
* Upcoming Budget meeting
* Mount Polley
* Sam Ketchum Pool Referendum
* Grant in Aide for 2015
* 150 Mile Transfer Station
* Heritage
* UBCM 2014 Convention
* WL Community Forest
* NCLGA
* Mental Health

She also has confirmed that she will seek another term as the Cariboo RD Area 'F' Director in this November's election

It is my humble opinion that Joan Sorley will be elected by acclamation for another term (4 years) come October 10th at 4pm.  She has been an excellent representative for Area 'F' during this term (2011-14) and deserves to be re-elected

With her announcement - 3 of the 12 Cariboo RD Electoral Area Directors' have announced their election plans for November.  The other two are:

Area D - Deb Bischoff retiring (Steve Forseth, current Cariboo RD Area D Alternate Director, running to become Area D Director)

Area L - Bruce Rattray retiring.  No candidates have publicly announced an election bid

The Cariboo RD Directors for Areas A, B, C, E, G, H, I, J and K have yet to make their election plans public
