As I've personally heard for a few weeks now - Wayne Lucier, a local homeless outreach worker confirms to the Williams Lake Tribune that he is seeking a seat on WL City Council. Read more here
With his announcement - I'm expecting 2 to 3 more people to announce WL City Councillor bids.
In addition - incumbent WL City Councillors Sue Zacharias & Laurie Walters have yet to (and I expect that they will) announce re-election bids. Watch for this after they arrive back from the annual UBCM Conference taking place all week at Whistler. The conference ends Friday at lunch!
