The standard two requirements to vote are:
A)
i) are a Canadian citizen
ii) are 18 years or older on voting day
iii) have lived in BC for six (6) months before voting day;
iv) have lived in the local government or Board of Education Trustee Electoral Zone for at least thirty (30) days on the day of voting and is not disqualified by the Local Government Act or any other Act or by law from voting
B) Two Pieces of ID that shows signature and a residential address. Examples include:
i) Provincial Voters Card
ii) Driver's License or BC Identification Card
iii) Government ID Cards
iv) Passport
v) Car Insurance Documents
vi) Health Card
vii) Credit Card
viii) Social Insurance Card
ix) Utility Bills
