At the City of Quesnel Council meeting on Tuesday - the City's Director of Financial/Corporate Services (K. Bolton) will report out on the City's 2017 Statement of Financial Information or SOFI Report, a requirement under Section 2(3) of the Financial Information Act; BC Regulation #371/93 and Section 168 of the Community Charter
The report has 3 components:
1) Elected Officials Remuneration/Expenses & Staff Renumeration (if above $75,000) and Expenses
2) Supplier Payments above $25,000
3) Severance Agreements

Insofar as Elected Official Remuneration/Expenses go in 2017:
Mayor Bob Simpson - Salary of $43,633.30 and Expenses of $6,713.68
City Councillors Brisco, Coleman, Elliott, Paull, Roodenburg and Thapar -- Salary of $14,901.95 each and expenses submitted in 2017 ranging from $0 (Brisco/Coleman) to $3,635.26 (Paull)
The other local governments in the Cariboo-Chilcotin (Wells, Williams Lake, 100 Mile House and the Cariboo Regional District) will be publishing their 2017 SOFI Reports in the next 60 days or so. Deadline to file SOFI Reports with the Province is Friday, June 29th
Meanwhile - the Boards' of Education for School Districts #28 (Quesnel) and #27 (Cariboo-Chilcotin) don't have to file their 2017 SOFI Reports until Dec 31st, 2018 as their financial calendar runs from July 1st to June 30th and the Financial Information Act says a corporate body (local government/board of education) must file their SOFI Report 6 months after the close of their fiscal year while local governments (Wells, Quesnel, Williams Lake, 100 Mile House and the Cariboo RD) run on a standard January - December financial calendar
