Public Restricted from attending Williams Lake City Council Meetings in person

Courtesy of the City of Williams Lake:

The updated Provincial Health Officer’s Order on Gatherings and Events released on December 2, 2020 requires local governments to once again restrict members of the public from attending meetings of Council, including public hearings, in person.

City of Williams Lake Council invites residents to access meetings live via the City’s YouTube page (https://www.youtube.com/CityWL) as an alternative to attending proceedings in person. Public transparency and accountability remain one of Council’s top priorities. Online meetings of Council will also be recorded and accessible following the live feeds for anyone unable to stream live. As always, Council agenda packages and minutes may continue to be accessed via the City’s website (www.williamslake.ca) or Council Meetings portal page https://williamslake.civicweb.net/Portal/

Stay tuned to the City’s website for notice of any Special Meetings that may be scheduled. The public is encouraged to visit https://williamslake.civicweb.net/Portal/Subscribe.aspx to sign up for notifications.

The City will update residents as soon as any developments occur.
