Update on Services at CMRC in Williams Lake

In accordance with the updated Public Health Order for Gatherings and Events released on December 3, 2020, the Cariboo Memorial Recreation Complex has made additional changes to its permitted facility and recreational activities.

 

As reported earlier today, all indoor group fitness activities and programs are suspended until further notice. This includes all drop-in aquafit, drop-in fitness, registered group fitness and registered aquatic fitness activities for all ages.

 

The user capacity for all programs, activities and sports has been reduced to a maximum of 50 participants.

 

Spectators continue to not be permitted to attend the facility. 

 

All indoor and outdoor adult team sports have been suspended until further notice. This includes basketball, cheerleading, combat sports, floor hockey, floor ringette, road hockey, ice hockey, ringette, netball, skating, soccer, curling, volleyball, indoor bowling, lawn bowling, lacrosse, hockey, ultimate, rugby, football, baseball and softball.


Operating within the requirements of the Public Health Order, the following activities may continue:
 

  • Individual (non-group) use of the Complex: this includes the Aquatic Centre, Fitness Centre and Ice Arenas.
  • Swimming classes
  • Drop-in skate
  • Structured programs and sports for children and youth under 19

The Cariboo Memorial Recreation Complex will advise users of any further changes should they be required.
