In a interest trend in tecnology and local government - the City of Kamloops has now joined the ranks of Castlegar, Prince George, Vancouver, North Vancouver, District of North Vancouver, Surrey, Chilliwack, and the Township of Langley as muncipalities who puts its' regular Council meetings for the public to watch either live or re-play at a time that is good for the public
Here in the Cariboo-Chilcotin - 100 Mile, Williams Lake, Quesnel and Wells Councils' as well as the Cariboo Regional District Board do not have this option available at present and it could be some time before either Williams Lake and Quesnel and the Cariboo Regional District Board would be broadcasting its meetings' over the internet, although I personally think that it would be a good thing for the public down the road. I suspect that 100 Mile/Wells won't be doing this for the foreseeable future, given their small budgets
