Earlier today - I had 1 individual from "Hudson's Bay Company" in New York City who was searching for the following term:
"What will happen to Boitanio Mall in 2012"
While it's hard to know, with certainty, what will happen to Boitanio Mall in 2012, let's go over some facts:
a) We know that 7 "spaces " inside Boitanio Mall are vacant at the moment
b) Rainbow End's is shutting down
c) Zellers continues to operate in Williams Lake while Zellers in Dawson Creek, Penticton and Prince Rupert are in 'Liquidation Mode' - see proof here as well as Staples, Jean Warehouse, Mark's, the Source and others in Boitanio Mall
As things change at Boitanio Mall in Williams Lake - I'll be sure to keep you appraised

Update at 5:19pm Tuesday, March 6th:
Greg Fry (reporter at the Rush) tweeted out the following:
HBC says a decision on the future of Zellers' in Boitanio Mall to be made in April.

Seems to mirror the economy and state of affairs in Williams Lake. Good thing we didnt approve that mine or other projects and the BIA is useless....enjoy the 1970s cause when its a ghost town its what it will be remembered for.
The new managment and onwership have driven it into the ground, no new leasing, i think they should bring back a competent ownership. Hope they will go to jail when the parking colapses.
