2022 District of Wells Mayoral/Councillors' By-Election

Tonight - the District of Wells voters' have preliminarily elected former Quesnel City Councillor (2011-2018) and former Barkerville Heritage Trust CEO Ed Coleman as its' Mayor over former District of Wells Councillor Jordan Rohatynski by a vote count of 89-27

Meanwhile -- Dorothea Funk, Jenn Lewis and John Aitken have preliminarily been elected as District of Wells' Councillors'

Results have preliminary until certified by the District of Wells Chief Election Officer which is expected to occur on Tuesday

Congratulations to Mayor-elect Coleman & Councillors' elect Funk, Lewis and Aitken and to the candidates that were not successful -- a big THANK YOU for putting your name forward.  Democracy is always served when there are choices....
