Residents' of Quesnel can share ideas for revitalizing Davie St and North Fraser Dr Landing

Courtesy of the City of Quesnel:

The City of Quesnel has hired L&M Engineering to lead the process of creating revitalization plans for the Davie St and North Fraser Drive Landing areas. The City is asking residents and businesses for help in creating these plans!

A revitalization plan recommends specific ideas, details and policies for a neighbourhood or a community that will result in the improvement of many things including overall aesthetics, culture, economic conditions, and recreational opportunities in the area.

The Davie St Revitalization Plan will direct growth, attract investment, support mixed-use developments and help to continue to create a resilient and vibrant downtown. The City wants to know what this area should look like in the future. Citizens can share their concerns about the area and ideas on how the area can be improved. This is an opportunity to influence the decisions about how the Davie Street Plan area will take shape.

The North Fraser Dr Landing Revitalization Plan is to serve as a long-range blueprint for encouraging investment, promoting economic development, supporting market and non-market housing and improving the quality of life for the North Fraser Dr Landing neighbourhood all while taking into consideration floodplain policy. The City wants to know what this area should look like in the future. Citizens can share their concerns about the area and ideas on how the area can be improved. This is an opportunity to create a plan for a more livable and thriving neighbourhood!
