At tonight's Committee of the Whole (WL Council) meeting, Representatives from the local Williams Lake Saturday Market Association (WLSMA) have proposed using Herb Gardner Park for a Saturday Farmers' Market
Earlier today, WL City Staff wrote a report recommending that the WLSMA look at alternative sites including the Spirit Square or Boitanio Park

But ultimately, I believe the solution is one Farmers' Market on Saturdays', rather than two Farmer Markets' on separate days

most people work during the day on fridays and that segment would appreciate being able to access the market on saturdays. As well, it brings people to the downtown which it sorrily needs.
