Editor's Note - I just read the draft report, as outlined below, and residents' of Quesnel should be pleased with this latest edition. Williams Lake Council has yet to release their draft copy and have until June 15th to do so, in order to comply with the terms/conditions of the Community Charter on the release of an Annual Report by June 30th
The first draft of the City of Quesnel's 2011 Annual Report is now available for public inspection and comment. The report may be viewed online at www.quesnel.ca (click on the link to the report on the right hand side of the page). It is also available in hard copy at Quesnel City Hall, 410 Kinchant St.
The Annual Report is required under the Community Charter and includes the 2011 Financial Statements, a report on the City's activities in 2011, and a series of strategic objectives for 2012. It must be presented to the public two weeks prior to being formally adopted by City Council.
