BC Conservatives have Constituency Assoc in Cariboo-Chilcotin

In a recent blog post on Donna Barnett being ready for a possible fall election (see here) - I received the following comment:

A CA (Constituency Association) has been created just recently in Williams Lake(happened friday)

If true - it raises the following questions:

1) Who will form the executive officers' of the BC Conservatives - Cariboo-Chilcotin Riding Association?  Are they former BC Liberals' members who are disenfranchised with the BC Liberal Party?

2) Who will the BC Conservatives put up as a candidate in the Cariboo-Chilcotin Electoral District (provincial) and do they have a better name recognition than Donna Barnett or Charlie Wyse to attract votes to him/her?

Hopefully - the BC Conservatives will announce this latest move (forming a local Constituency Association) so voters' know who sits on the Riding Association and what their plans are, as far as the next provincial election in this region goes

The BC Conservative Party has formed a Constituency Association for the riding of Cariboo-Chilcotin. Newly elected Constituency Association President Brad McRae states, “I have thought about becoming involved in politics for some time; however no party up until now embodied both the fiscal responsibility and political accountability that I wanted to see”. The newly formed Association is currently looking for new members, or for those who are simply curious about what the BC Conservatives represent. McRae states, “It’s time for a choice in BC politics, a choice that’s not the same old regime of the Liberals, or the fiscally irresponsible mandate of the NDP, but a choice of sound fiscal responsibility that the BC Conservative Party provides”.
