Earlier today, the Ministry of Community, Sport and Cultural Development announced its' latest round of 2011 Towns for Tomorrow Grants

In our region, the following communities received grants:
100 Mile House - $400,000 for Enhancements to Effluent Reuse System
Cariboo Regional District - $400,000 for Anahim Lk Airport - New Terminal Building/Extend Runway
The City of Williams Lake did not receive the $375,000 for the assistance of the move of our local Station House Gallery and without the Towns for Tomorrow Grant, it is hard to see how a move of the Gallery will occur this year without the current WL Council allocating an additional $375,000 for this project, in addition to the $260,000 it has already approved for this project and it appears very likely that the next WL City Council will have to decide how a future move of the Station House Gallery will occur and where it'll move to
