"Listening First" Tour comes to Williams Lake and Quesnel

In a very positive move - the new BC Liberal Party President Sharon White is sending her Deputy - Bill Belsey (former MLA for North Coast for 37th Parliament of BC - 2001 to 2005) on a "Listening First" Tour which seeks to ask "What can the BC Liberal Party do to help serve our local communities better?"

To that end - the "Listening First" Tour will be in Quesnel and Williams Lake on Wednesday, July 20th as follows:

Quesnel:

Time - 9:30am
Location - Granville's Coffee Cafe

You are asked to RSVP ASAP with Carol Pitkin (BC Liberal Cariboo-North Riding Assoc President) at 250-991-2878 or fill out the form here

Williams Lake:

Time - 12:00pm
Location - IRL Truck Centres – 4775 Cattle Drive (off of Mackenzie Avenue, across from Brandt Tractors')

You are asked to RSVP ASAP with Bill Carruthers (BC Liberal Cariboo-Chilcotin Riding Assoc President) at 250-398-0494 or fill the form here

I plan to attend the session in Williams Lake and I strongly encourage all BC Liberal Party members in Cariboo-North or Cariboo-Chilcotin to attend these sessions next Wednesday

Make your BC Liberal Party work for you!!

Maybe they should have done that before they:

allowed the HST to be rammed down our throats knowing the public would have never gone for it pre-introduction

allowed for the contracts of the ferries CAO and the bleeding of commuters on a provincial government subsidized highway

hidden the true cost of the owelypics through shifting tax burdens, taking a payoff from the feds, and a bunch of other corrupt dealings

The list goes on....

Time to vote the Liebrals out.

Mind you Steveo ill be suprised if you let this be published as this is counter to your platform of continued corrupt government support.

Thanks for your comment...

Two things:

1) Comments, after I've reviewed them for appropriateness (libel, etc) , will always be posted unless they are libelous and slanderous in some way and not into good taste or fair comment

2) While the present BC Liberal government is not perfect and yes - they've made decision I don't necessarily share, they are certainly better than the other options like the NDP or the BC Conservatives

So you dont deny supporting a party that has essentially lied through smoke and mirrors then?

No - I don't deny supporting the BC Liberals. They aren't perfect but they are certainly better than the old and tired NDP and the "flip-flopping" BC Conservatives
