Yesterday afternoon, Cariboo RD Area 'C' Director & Chair of the Cariboo-Chilcotin Regional Hospital District John Massier (District) spoke to the Goat and Cariboo Country about the ongoing planning delays which sit currently with Interior Health.
The District places the Cariboo Memorial Hospital project as Priority #1
It is hoped that planning will be complete sometime in the spring of 2015
I'm personally disappointed to learn that Interior Health is not putting the resources to getting this planning exercise done. Our Hospital serves a wide region and is a powerful asset to community building and recruiting people here and we simply must get the upgrades to CMH completed in the not too distant future and not many, many years from now....
