The Provincial Municipal Inspector keeps a list of individuals who are not permitted to run in a subsequent local government election as they did not follow the terms/conditions of the Local Government Act as it relates to local elections. View the full provincial list here
A little more closer to home, the following individuals are barred from being nominated as candidates in this fall's local government elections (municipal, regional district or board of education)
1) Paul Kandola - ran in 2011 City of Williams Lake local government election
2) Heather McKenzie - ran in 2011 SD #27 Zone 4 Trustee election. Presently a WL Indian Band Councillor
3) James Ritchie - ran in 2011 SD #27 Zone 5 Trustee election
4) Rob Zacharias - ran in 2011 SD #27 Zone 6 Trustee election
The above listed four individuals are permitted to run in the October 2018 Local Government Civic Election
