Campsall vs Doucette in November?

As I blogged a few days ago - Len Doucette, from the Say Yes to New Prosperity Group is seriously contemplating a run for 100 Mile House Mayor - read more here

Meanwhile - Mitch Campsall, the current Mayor of 100 Mile House, says to a potential bid by Len Doucette to challenge him in November's civic elections - Bring it on!!.  His vision of 100 Mile House includes tourism, restoration of BC Ferry service to Bella Coola, farming and other mines to bring back the youth to 100 Mile House and contrary to Doucette's claims, 100 Mile House Council has always been in support of New Prosperity.  Read more here

Having worked with Mayor Campsall on the CRD Board a few times in 2013/14 - I believe Mitch's heart has always been in the right place - what's best for his municipality and for the region.

That said - should a Campsall vs Doucette race for 100 Mile Mayor come to fruition - Mr. Doucette will need to show a stronger vision for 100 Mile House and demonstrate he has the relationships (business/political) and a plan to bring more growth to 100 Mile House then Mayor Campsall has to date.
