City of WL 2020 Paving Program commences mid-September

The City of Williams Lake would like to inform residents that street paving works are scheduled to begin in mid-September.  

Streets to be repaved include portions of:

11th Avenue

12th Avenue

Moxon Place

Slater Street

Midnight Drive

Moon Avenue

Atwood Place

Ogden Street

Pigeon Avenue

2nd Avenue North

During paving activities, traffic delays and detours will occur. Please use caution when near construction areas and obey all traffic control personnel, signs, and devices. Your co-operation and patience are greatly appreciated.

Streets to be repaved are selected on the City’s most recent pavement assessments. There has been an increase of 40% more streets included in the paving program this year due to significant costs savings on projects.  The street paving contract was awarded to Key West Asphalt Ltd.
