Today starts Day 1 of 3 of the Virtual 2020 UBCM or Union of BC Municipalities Convention. Registered delegates are participating online while the virtual Convention is being managed by a select few of the 2019-2020 UBCM Executive..

* AGM Business - Approval of Auditor, Approval of Audited Financial Statements, Report of the 2019-20 UBCM President, etc
* Report of UBCM Nominating Committee for 2020-21 UBCM Executive (report here). Delegates can commence voting after 11am today
* Political Panel -- 45-minute panel session exploring the strategic considerations facing the three main parties. UBCM is very pleased to welcome Maria Dobrinskaya, Director of the Broadbent Institute; Jonina Campbell, Executive Director of the Green Party; and Caroline Elliott, political commentator and PhD student in political science at Simon Fraser University to this session.
