Minutes of the August 20th Special Committee of the Whole meeting were received/adopted
Delegation:
B.A. Blackwell and Associates Ltd. electronically appeared before the Committee to provide an update on the Community Wildfire Protection Plan for the Lac La Lache/100 Mile House Fringe Area.
A Question/Answer period ensued
The Chair thanked the delegation for their time/information
Resolved - That the Lac La Hache/100 Mile House Fringe Area CWPP be referred to Staff for a report and said report be returned/considered at the time the CRD VFD Review is considered
Resolved - That reps. from Ministry of Environment be invited to a future meeting to discuss the high level of lakes/rivers/creeks in the Electoral Areas....
Business:
The Committee discussed the following topics and provided direction to Staff:
a) Discussion on Park Model Trailers, Seasonal Dwellings, Dry Cabins, and Short Term Rental Accommodations
b) Proposed Expansion of Bylaw Enforcement Services
c) Possible Involvement of First Nation Communities at the Board Table
The Committee adjourned at 2:05pm
