Meeting called to order at 5:30pm

The Chair recognized that the meeting was taking place on traditional, unceded Williams Lake First Nation territory within Secwepemculecw and reminded Committee members to keep their mobile devices on vibrate mode to minimize distractions during the meeting

1) Discussion Item - School District No. 27 Cariboo-Chilcotin Marie Sharpe Fieldhouse Concepts (referred by CRD Board)

Discussion ensued 

Resolved -- That pursuant to CRD Board Resolution #2023-6-23, the School District No. 27 Marie Sharpe Fieldhouse Concepts be received for discussion by the Central Cariboo Joint Committee.

2) Verbal Update re Options for Handrails on Sam Ketcham Memorial Pool Deck (per May 24, 2023 CCJC mtg)

Verbal report of the City's Director of Community Services presented to the Committee

Resolved -- That the verbal update from Stacey Miranda, Director of Community Services, City of Williams Lake regarding options for additional handrails closer to the pool area at the Sam Ketcham Memorial Pool, as requested by the Joint Committee at their May 24, 2023 meeting, be received.

3) Discussion Item - CMRC Operating Hours

Co-Chair Forseth and the City's Director of Community Services presented the item to the Committee

Resolved -- That the letter from Arnold Fontaine dated July 12, 2023 regarding the public hours of operation at the Cariboo Memorial Recreation Complex be received.
