This week - the Cariboo Regional District is engaging its' residents for the 2013 Budget and has told both North/South Cariboo residents' that taxes could decrease by 1.2-1.3% "depending on if they're getting a new and improved service or maintaining existing services."
One reason for the decrease is the pay-off of the Quesnel/100 Mile Libraries were monies were borrowed to complete these two libraries
Read more here (South Cariboo - Jan 30th) and here (North Cariboo - Jan 31st, last night)
The final public consultation meeting for the CRD's 2013 Budget is this Saturday at 1:00pm, up at the Pioneer Complex (Rm 119) - 351 Hodgson Rd in Williams Lake

I want to say to the Cariboo RD Board -- Bravo!!
