CMRC shuts down Sat at 2:15pm

UPDATE ON JOB ACTION AT CMRC

The Union which represents the City workers at the CMRC provided the City with 72 hours strike notice on Wednesday. The Union has now publically stated that it will be going on strike and are able to do so at 3:30pm Saturday.

As a result of this announced job action the CMRC will have to close to the public at 2:15pm on Saturday, February 16th to prepare the facility for closure during the job action. The union has also now indicated that it will return to work Monday, February 17th as per usual.

The CMRC will therefore be COMPLETELY CLOSED Saturday after 2:15pm, CLOSED all day Sunday, and then will OPEN FOR BUSINESS as usual on Monday at 5:30am.
