Earlier today - the Union of BC Municipalities' or UBCM's Nomination Committee officially published its' Report on Nominations to the UBCM Executive for the 2018-19 term. Read the report here
At this stage, only the 3rd Vice President and Small Community Rep positions will have an election.
Subject to nominations being received off the floor at the 2018 UBCM Convention, the remaining positions would then be acclaimed:
* President - Arjun Singh
* 1st VP - Maja Tate
* 2nd VP - Sharon Gaetz
* Directors-at-Large (5) - Laurey-Anne Roodenburg, Steve Forseth, Stephen Fairbairn, Gerry Taft and Jennifer Ford
* Electoral Area rep - Art Kaehn
* Metro Vancouver reps (2) - Paul Albrecht and Bruce Hayne
Should my name ultimately stand as part of the 5 Directors at Large block, it would be an honour/privilege to serve on the UBCM Executive for the 2018-19 term
