Effective immediately, the Cariboo Regional District has lifted the evacuation alert for 57 properties in the Houseman Road area, which is about 25 kilometres northeast of 100 Mile House. With the recent rain and the efforts of BC Wildfire Service crews, the CRD’s Forest Grove Volunteer Fire Department and contract crews, theHouseman Road fire is being held and 100 per cent contained.
