Today - the electors (on and off reserve) of the Williams Lake Indian Band (T'exelc) will be electing a new Chief and two new Councillors for a 4 year term.

Current Williams Lake Indian Band Chief Ann Louie has chosen to not seek re-election. She has been a powerful First Nations leader within the Central Cariboo and I personally wish her well in her next steps in life...

Voting will take place from 9am - 8pm at the Elizabeth Grouse Gym and vote results should be available within a couple of hours of the polls closing
