Crews continue to work 24 hours/day on the Narcosli Creek fire. The fire is now 90% guarded around the fire’s perimeter and 50% contained. All of the contingency guards are in place, along with a tight line guard along close to fire perimeter on the northern flank. Today, heavy equipment will work to complete any unguarded areas along the fire’s perimeter. Weather permitting, ground personnel will focus on preparing for a burn operations that will assist with securing the guard. There are 99 firefighters, five helicopters and 11 pieces of heavy equipment on site. Visit Wildfire BC for the latest update: http://bit.ly/2nttLvh
