Pinkney says she’s running because she really cares about the community: she’s an active community member who wants to see some changes.
Pinkney says she doesn't think of herselfas a politician, but a hard worker who looks past the red tape and gets work done.
Pinkney says some issues she would stress as mayor include increasing economic development and diversity and community sustainability.
Local elections are scheduled for November 19th.
